Can Your Past Life Vows Block Your Wealth? A Journey of Karmic Vows Through Past Life Regression

Maithili Session#1-3

The Weight of an Invisible Burden

Maithili sat before me on the other side of the screen, her face etched with frustration, there was an air of quiet despair about her. A woman in her late thirties, sharp-minded and articulate, yet burdened with a struggle that logic alone couldn’t untangle. A single mother from Pune, she had spent the last five years battling financial instability despite a steady income. No matter how much she earned, unexpected expenses always drained her savings. She found herself in an unrelenting cycle of financial instability. It was as if an unseen force was keeping her locked in struggle, making sure she never truly moved beyond survival mode.

“I’ve tried financial coaching, palmistry and performed other rituals suggested by astrologers” she admitted. “Nothing changes. It’s like I’m cursed," she said, her voice a mix of exasperation and exhaustion. "I do everything right—budgeting, saving, but something always comes up. It's as if money isn’t meant to stay with me."

When she reached out for a Past Life Regression (PLR) session, her question was clear: Are my financial struggles karmic? She wanted to know if there was a deeper, unseen force sabotaging her prosperity. What we uncovered was more than just a past-life imprint—it was a cycle, a karmic pattern woven across multiple lifetimes, each reinforcing the same unconscious belief: Wealth is not meant for me.

A Lifetime of Poverty – The Vow That Bound Her

As Maithili settled into the hypnotic state, her breath deepened, and her subconscious began its journey and soon, we were travelling through the corridors of time.

"I’m walking barefoot, I’m a male … the ground is cold, and there’s a stone monastery up ahead." Her voice was soft, distant, as if she were witnessing a memory unfold like a dream. “It’s cold. The walls are made of stone. I’m wearing a robe… "I think I’m a monk around 35-37 years of age.”

With gentle guidance, she began to reveal more details. It was a medieval backdrop, and she was a devoted monk in a secluded monastery. The life was austere, devoted to discipline and prayer. And at some point in that life, she had taken a sacred vow—a vow of poverty.

“I promised to renounce all worldly possessions,” she whispered. “To never desire wealth, never to own anything, never to chase money, only to serve, to see money as temptation,” she murmured, frowning slightly.

And there it was—the imprint. The vow wasn’t just a spoken promise; it had etched itself into her soul’s memory, carrying over lifetimes, manifesting in this present incarnation as an unconscious resistance to financial stability.

As the memory unfolded, we saw the impact of this vow — it became clear that in that lifetime, poverty had been revered as purity, a way to remain spiritually untainted. The idea of money had been deeply intertwined with guilt and moral compromise. This vow had become an energetic imprint, carrying over into future incarnations.

When we explored further, at the moment of death, Maithili’s soul left that lifetime still bound to the belief: To be spiritual, I must reject wealth.

And so, the vow carried forward… without her conscious awareness, that old vow had continued its work in this lifetime, making sure she never truly allowed wealth to stay, because deep inside, her soul still believed that abundance would corrupt her spirit.

Another Lifetime, Another Scar

Past Life Regression often reveals patterns rather than isolated incidents, and Maithili’s session was no different. As we moved beyond the monastery, another lifetime began to emerge.

“I see… fire. There’s smoke everywhere. People are screaming,” she gasped. Her body tensed as the vision unfolded. We had landed in 17th or 18th century India, where she was a young woman born into a family of merchants. Her family had built a flourishing business, dealing in spices and textiles. But prosperity was fleeting.

“I’m hiding,” she whispered. “Men with swords… they’re looting the market. My father is…” Her voice faltered, she recognised him as the father from this lifetime, but lost him in her early teens to a road accident. Her father had been killed during a violent raid. The shop was burnt to the ground, and her family lost everything overnight.

As we explored ahead, “I never recovered from it,” she said. “I spent the rest of my life in fear, convinced that money attracts danger.”

And there it was again — the belief, the wound carried forward into this lifetime. Her subconscious had equated financial success with vulnerability. Accumulating wealth meant exposing herself to loss, destruction, and pain. And so, in this life, she kept herself at just enough — not too much to be a target, not too little to perish.

Healing the Karmic Pattern: Releasing the Vows

Understanding is the first step to healing, but true transformation happens when we consciously release what no longer serves us. As we explored these past lives, her present struggles suddenly made sense to her.

Maithili sat in quiet contemplation, absorbing the weight of this revelation. "I’ve been pushing money away… just like I did before," she said. The vows she had taken in those past lifetimes — solemn, binding, and powerful — had unknowingly shaped her present reality. The unconscious repulsion towards money, the inability to hold onto wealth, the guilt that crept in when financial success was within reach — it all made sense now. Recognising the pattern was the first step. The next was releasing the vow that had bound her across lifetimes.

With Maithili still in a deep hypnotic state, through guided regression techniques, I led her into a space of healing — a luminous realm where her soul could rewrite the narrative. We worked on energetically revoking the old vows and cutting the cords that bound her to scarcity.

With newfound awareness, she consciously revoked these vows, allowing herself to embrace financial stability without fear. The merchant's lifetime, in particular, held an important lesson — prosperity wasn’t something to be ashamed of; it was a resource that could be used for growth, generosity, and impact. The shift was palpable. Tears streamed down her face as the weight of centuries lifted. As the session unfolded, a sense of relief washed over her. She was free.

Life After the Session – The Transformation

Following the session, Maithili felt an immediate shift in how she perceived money. She stopped anxiously saving out of fear or giving money away impulsively, she learned to welcome wealth with gratitude and balance.

A few weeks later, Maithili messaged me, her excitement practically radiating through the screen. “For the first time in years, I feel at ease with money. Opportunities are showing up, and I’m not sabotaging them! I even got an unexpected raise at work. It’s like something finally clicked” she wrote.

But the real transformation wasn’t just in her bank account. It was in how she felt about money. By severing the energetic ties to her past-life vows, Maithili had made space for a new relationship with money — one rooted in abundance rather than avoidance.

Final Thoughts – Could Your Past Lives Be Holding You Back? Are Your Money Blocks Karmic?

Maithili’s journey is a powerful reminder that sometimes, our struggles aren’t rooted in our present reality but in the echoes of our soul’s past. Financial blocks, inexplicable fears, recurring patterns — these could all be signposts leading to unresolved karmic imprints.

If you find yourself stuck in an unrelenting cycle — whether with money, love, or success — perhaps it’s time to look beyond this lifetime. Past Life Regression isn’t just about curiosity; it’s about liberation.
